Pandemic Influenza and H1N1 (Swine Flu) Information
Walla Walla Community College has updated and enhanced many features of the campus to create a healthy, safe, and secure environment. To take precautions against the anticipated rise in Pandemic Flu and H1N1 "Swine Flu" cases, additional hand sanitizing stations and informational posters have been placed around campus, and sanitizing hand wipes were distributed to each office. Some simple steps can be taken to help prevent contraction and spread of the flu, however it is very important for everyone to stay informed with the most current information by visiting the sites listed below.

Know what to do about the flu:
- Cover your cough
- Wash your hands frequently (watch this video created by the CDC for hand washing tips)
- If you have a fever, stay home for at least 24 hours after that fever has ended
- Get a vaccine when it becomes available
