Four WWCC Instructors Serve as Guest Presenters

Four WWCC instructors - Brad LaFran, Jennifer Boyden, Linda Andrews and Jon Stratton - will serve as guest presenters at The Walla Walla Public Library’s annual Booked for Winter program.

Each instructor selected a book to discuss that was either created during, or as a reaction to, times of struggle and oppression.  The four presentations will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Library:

January 22 – Brad LaFran, The Orsinian Tales by Ursula K. Le Guin

February 5 – Jennifer Boyden, Good Poems for Hard Times by Garrison Keillor

February 19 – Linda Andrews, When the Emperor was Divine by Julie Otsuka

March 12 – Jon Stratton, Winter of Our Discontent by John Steinbeck

Multiple copies of the books will be available to check out during the sessions.  The four-evening program is free and open to the public
